Safeguarding

The Guild Church of St Lawrence Jewry affirms the Church of England’s ‘Whole Church’ approach to safeguarding and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all those who are vulnerable (children, young people and vulnerable adults). We expect all of our officers and staff, and those who use our premises, to share this commitment, and we value the support of those who worship here in achieving this.
You will find our Parish Safeguarding Policy below.

Katrina Bradley is our Safeguarding Officer and is the first person to contact if you have any concerns around the welfare of a child, young person or vulnerable adult. She can be contacted via the church office – 0207 600 9478 or admin@stlawrencejewry.org.uk . If you wish to report an issue, either current or historic, and don’t feel able to approach the parish directly, you may contact the Diocese of London’s Safeguarding Team on  020 7932 1224 or by email at safeguarding@london.anglican.org

Out of hours advice can be sought from the CCPAS’s helpline on 0303 003 1111 where you will be able to get confidential advice, guidance and support. The contact numbers of several safeguarding agencies can be found in the document below.
