St Lawrence Jewry currently has five members of staff plus 2 key volunteers.

 

The Guild Vicar is Canon David Parrott. He worked for 25 years in Chelmsford Diocese before moving to St Lawrence Jewry in 2009.  He is married to Sue and they have two adult sons. He has a wide ministerial background, and has particular interests in ministerial formation, preaching and church law. He is the author of 'Your Church and the Law' (Canterbury Press, 2008).  He also authored three books for the church: The Rules for the Conduct of Life, The Windows of St Lawrence Jewry and St Lawrence Jewry next Guildhall (Pitkin Guide).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Catherine Ennis is Organist and Director of Music. She has been on the staff of St  Lawrence for over 30 years and is one of the most experienced organists in the country.  She was a former President of The Royal College of Organists.

 

 

 

 

 

Arnel Sullano is the Verger/Administrator who works full time and is in-charge of the over all cleanliness of  the church, its website, church finance, newsletters and mailing lists, special  services and concert bookings.  He is also the Health & Safety Officer, First Aider and one of the Deanery Synod Representatives.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katrina Bradley is the Administrator / PA to the Guild Vicar who also works fulltime in the church.  She is incharge of the administrative aspects     of  weddings, GCC, Lawrence Lectures, special events and liasing with other  churches.  She also acts as the Electoral Roll Officer and Secretary of Friends of St Lawrence Jewry. 

 

 

 

Martin Woods is one of the Church Wardens who acts as the Cash Clerk, a Deanery Synod Representative and Petty Cash Officer.  He is currently the Master of the Worshipful Company of Parish Clerks.

 

Sue Parrott, the vicar's wife, aside from giving David all the needed supports behind the scene, is also always ready to give a lending hand to anything that the church needs.  She is our in-house mosaic artist and gives spiritual direction to anybody who needs it.
