January - March 2014 Organ Programme

The Guild Church of St Lawrence Jewry next Guildhall

We welcome you to our historic series of Tuesday lunchtime organ concerts. This is one of London’s longest established and most notable organ series, in one of Wren’s finest City churches, and enhanced in recent years by the installation of our fine Klais organ. For over a century City workers have found solace and inspiration by coming to hear music at lunchtime in this space. Admission is free, but the expenses of our music ministry are considerable, and  we are most grateful for your generosity in the retiring collection.

In February and March, we are delighted to present another series of top sixth- form organists from around the UK. The energy and committment of these young artists has entranced audiences in previous years, and it is certain that this year’s roster will be equally enthralling.
