Annie graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, in 2012 with a double first class degree in Music. Whilst at Caius she was the Wilfred Holland Organ Scholar, playing for and conducting the mixed-voice choir for concerts, tours, recordings and BBC Radio 3 broadcasts, and was invited to play for recitals and services at a number of other Cambridge colleges including both King's and John's. She won both the Compton Wills prize for contribution to the musical life of the college and the H.L. Perry prize for the finest performance in a college concert.

In 2010 she was the flute soloist with the New English Concert Orchestra for a series of ‘Battle Prom’ concerts, regularly playing to audiences of over 5,000. Before taking up her place at Cambridge she studied flute and organ for a year at the Royal Academy of Music, becoming the inaugural winner the Lionel Rogg Prize for Organ Improvisation.

She now works at English National Opera and is the Director of Music at St Anne’s Church, Soho. She runs, conducts and plays for Sing West London - a series of Come and Sing days in Holland Park - and is also producing and directing the Notting Hill Mayfest 2014, a month-long series of mixed cultural events across Notting Hill.
